Is it possible to us nc files in Carbide Motion?

Yes, that is one of the supported file extensions.

Note that the file will have to have been written out with a suitable post-processor so that it contains G-code understood by Grbl/Carbide Motion:

and the feeds and speeds and extents of the file will have to be suited to the machine and where the origin is set.

There is a wireframe preview of the file after it is loaded in current versions which should help.
