with a few letters that wont cut correctly. the tt in matthew in this file wont cut out correct.
thank you on advance for your help

I downloaded your file but only some of it showed in the simulation. When you edit text you can increase the spacing of letters and that might help. Maybe another font.

I used to live in Houston so hopefully when you friend retires he can get the heck out of there. Big cities are no place for old folks between the high taxes, crime and traffic.

i am working on this file i created for a retirement for a friend at work.
for some reason the tt in matthew will not cut correctly. thank you for your help

Processing: whatley 2x3 mdf.c2d…

Thank you for your help!!!
I will try spacing it just doesn’t make sense that the first t is fine but the second one is not

Your letters overlap:

For the basics on this see:

https://carbide3d.com/blog/merging-script-fonts-in-carbide-create/

One technique for this is to use “Trim Vectors”:

Zoom in:

click on what is not wanted:

repeating as needed until one arrives at:

OK

OK

Join Vectors to close:

Yes

Repeat until all such overlaps are fixed.

Attached as a v7 file.
