New Affinity suite .dxf export issues?

Hi all,
I was all excited about the potential of the new Affinity ‘all-in-one-for-free’ suite and grabbed a copy the day it came out. It opens my Illustrator designs just fine, but when I export a .dxf and open it in Create, the units are wrong. Measurement numbers are right (42 width, 20 height), but instead of inches, it’s millimeters. I’ve been talking with Affinity support, and after sending him my files, he said the .dxf $INSUNITS code is set to “1”, which is how it’s supposed to work, but clearly something is off either in how they are writing the .dxf or how Carbide is interpreting it.
Has anyone else run into this? Old Affinity V2 files worked when I did a test about 6 months ago, but I can’t find one to compare. Opening the Affinity .dxf if Fusion 360 is just fine, no issues at all.

Upload a file with this problem?

I tried to upload the affinity file, but it’s not supported here.
The original doc is 10"x10", units set to inches, and the circle has a 10" diameter.

Zip up the file before uploading.

Here ya go.

Seems pretty close to the right size in the current version of Carbide Create:

Ok, updating to CC v8 fixed the problem mostly - tho it still opens in CC in millimeters, not inches. At least the scale is correct and when I change to inches all is well, 10" x 10".
Still. Pretty sure it shouldn’t be opening in millimeters.
Also, now that I’ve updated to v8 my paid Pro license isn’t working. Le sigh.

Which unit is used by Carbide Create is determined by Job Setup:

Your Carbide Create Pro license was addressed in your support ticket – let us know if that didn’t come through (or if build 830 doesn’t work w/ your license).
