New inst all says “busy”

Just installed but when I go to jog on carbide go- Hit x- or any of them it just says “ busy”

its a 5 pro 4x4. running window have 7.5 ram

this week, brand new computer too just for it 8 gigs ram i5

just tried another windows laptop same issue

From Carbide Motion, did you ‘Send Configuration’? You must do this for every computer you connect to the machine, since it also sets things up on the computer.
