Hello out there, new to the forum and actually new to the cnc world.
the last build I did on the machine went flawless, cut ended machine lifted and parked mid way at the back of the bed like always.
Yesterday I went to start the machine up and it wouldn’t initialize, kept on saying it was jammed or homing switch wasn’t working. went onto settings like it stated in the trouble shooting, checked all the homing switches as shown, the Y switch [ not the Y2] would stay lit and not shut down, hooked up the spare switch that came with the machine to no avail, so not sure if this is normal or not.
Went on to settings highlighted the MDI enabled the bit setter so I could get it to jog as shown and was able to make it move but only on 1mm or lower. It would jog forward on X and move up and down on the Z but would only move from left to right to the mid way point across the Y
I’m new to this world and not really sure what the problem is, just wondering if anyone can help.
