Great tips! Many of those I’ve learned through discovery LOL

I review the simulations a lot, but have also found it helpful to invest in one or more practice cuts, for at least some toolpaths where I want to be sure of the look, if not the whole project.

I generally test on scrap wood but sometimes I’ll commit small sections of the same wood I’ll be using in my project to make sure the detail appears the way I want it to.

Absolutely true on test cuts. As a project gets more complicated and the materials of higher value, the greater the need for test cutting.
