Newbie and excited to learn

I am totally green on this CNC routering, but look forward to learning and creating. Waiting for my Shapeoko 5 2 x 4 with 65mm spindle. Also waiting for the bit starter pack. The spindle arrived today and the machine should arrive today or tomorrow. I will be placing the machine on Rockler Rock Steady 56 x 32 x 32 mobile cart. I have designed the cart in Sketchup. The top and wood structure will be 18mm plywood with black on one side. I plan on having the controller and electronics on a lower shelve, There will also be adding two compartments for pull out sustainers. The systainers will be accessible front and back. The Rock-Steady cart is built. Now I have to pickup the coated plywood and do the build. As I put this thing together, photos will be taken and uploaded.

Really nice setup, you should pleased with the results.

Looks like an awesome setup! Turf in the garage and no snow outside…

I would consider a vacuum system.

I have a dust collection system connected to the machine during cutting. I need to work on an overhead hose support. I would also like to add retractable computer stand as well. The table top will get a hardwood banding. The table and cabinets were assembled using the Festool Domino System. I’m working out of a three car garage and my equipment must be mobile. My wife’s car goes into garage during the evenings!
