Newbie, need advice for hobby use, no machine or S/W yet

Recently retire with 60 years of hobby woodworking. I’m now making charcuterie and cutting boards and some resin and inlays. I’d like to use CNC to inlay, make templates, cut juice grooves, etc. nothing fancy for now. I am not going to sell what I make, I give it away to friends, families and charities to sell. I really like Carbide3d and the training. I am leaning on the Genmitsu 4030 ProverXL v2 for the quality, price point and overall footprint. The other CAD S/W seems more complex, web based and or expensive.
Can I use CarbideCreate 2D or CCreatePro with this brand on CNC? Black Friday sales are close and I want to make a purchase soon.

Yes, folks have used such machines with the Pro license of our software:

Difficulties include, but are not limited to:

  • communication/control programs not as simple/straight-forward as Carbide Motion
  • lack of accessories/equivalents to BitSetter and so forth
  • no integration of same
  • lack of documentation/training/support
  • workholding not as secure — in particular their knock-offs of our Hybrid T-tracks are thinner and are prone to flexing when securing stock
  • warranty — c.f., Carbide 3D protects you from any mistakes for 60 days

My recommendation for any beginning user is to download the software, work through creating a project:

https://my.carbide3d.com/#Projects

and then review all the documentation on how to get stock secured, zero set relative to it, file loaded and previewed, and then begin cutting.

Thank you. I am currently building projects in the trial version. I don’t want to invest in probably the best or largest machines or for the best software i case I lose intersect or lack patience to learn. As long as I know that it can work, I will push through.
Thanks again
Phil
