Newbie v-carve question

Hello, in the attached photo, I did my first ever run on my Pro 5 4x4. On the eagle, i used the #301 90 degree v-carve bit. As you can see in the red circled area, there is waste. How can I remove this? Did I go to deep with the v-carve or is there another trick? This is my first cnc machine and first ever run, so any tips or tricks are apprecaited. Thank you!!

Thank you so much! I watched all the series that they provide to get started, but never seen this one. Thank you again for taking your time to reply and share! Out of curiousity, it there a way to run just the pocket step without running the v-carve again?

Yes, current versions of Carbide Create generate separate toolpaths for a V carve operation with pocket clearing:

Just re-create the V carving operation enabling pocket clearing and disable the V carving toolpath
