So here’s the question
Z-plus
Unless I’m skipping over too much I see that you only oil the bottom rail thing from the bottom
Do you oil the top ones from the top as there is no room between the two to get to the bottom of the top thing
Told ya it may sound stupid

This only shows the lower carriage so I’m guessing the screw for the top carriage is on the top of the carriage
I would go look but working right now
You have to remove the z+plus to oil the bearings. After you oil the bearings place a rag/paper towel under when parked. The first few days oil may run down rails and drip on spoilboard. Additionally before use wipe off excess oil so it does not drip on a project The maintenance manual Will references putting 3ml of oil on. I only fot 1.5ml to go in before it overflowed. Maybe put some in and let it set a while and let it soak down and put more in.
I moved the z up and down and had fresh oil on rails.
.
It’s clear you oil the lower carriage from the bottom whether it’s off the gantry or not
But it’s not clear for the top carriage
Looking at the machine it looks like the top carriage has the same bolt to remove and oil ?
Yes you may need to manually turn the leadscrew to gain access to the top screw. Or jog the router doen before turning the machine off before maintenance.
So the top carriage is oiled from the top and the bottom carriage from the bottom sir ?
Yes. Remove the z carriage. Turn it upside down. Remove the screw and add oil. Let it sit then see if you can a total of 3ml of Mobil Vactra #2 in. Put your screw back in. Turn the z czrriage upright and remove the screw and add up to 3ml of oil. You may not get it all in. Let it sit then try to get more of the 3ml of oil in. Put the screw back in. Remount your z carriage adjusting your bottom v wheels.
The screws in the middle are inaccessible without removing the bearing blocks. It is not recommended to remove the bearing blocks.
