Just finish putting my SO4xxl together, the machine does the homing process perfectly fine but when I am trying to set up the bitsetter the machine does not want to move in either axis… if I press SE the machine will move to that position but will not allow me to manually move either axis to find the bitsetter, all I get is a clicking sound.

double-check whether your step size in the jog menu is not set to the lowest increment value?

When opening the Jog menu and manually moving the machine the speed is set to the lowest setting and even at that setting you should hear the motor making a pulse sound.
