Nomad Minimum and Maximum Spindle Speed

Hi,

What is the maximum spindle speed of the Nomad?
12000 rpm?
I am using very small tools 10mil and want to go smaller which higher RPM or slower cutting speed.
Is it possible to get higher rpm? Which modification do you recommend?

I believe the max is 10,000rpm.

Any info from Carbide3d team regarding the max spindle speed, so we don’t have to guess :slight_smile:

It’s 10,000. Sometimes it has been reported as 12k, but there’s a post somewhere on this forum where the Carbide guys - I think either @robgrz or @Jorge - definitively said it was 10k.

Which makes me wonder… what is the minimum spindle speed? Are the RPM settings continuous or does it vary in steps? If in steps, what is the step size?

I measure on my machine 2000rpm.
