Not plunging on intial toolpath cut

Suddenly it is not cutting on the initial plunge cut.
Material is MDF at 0.270.Tool is a 1/8 end mill.Tried setting it up as stock top and stock bottom.
Toolpath is outside right. The goal is to cut the shape free of the stock.
Used the tool bit probe and set Motion to 0,0,0. When it did cut it only cut to 0.120.

Set the bit using a piece of paper to set the Z height. Ran file again and the same behaviour.
Obviously something is out of calibration. But what?

If you could post the file, then someone might be able to see what you see.

Check whether when jogging Z manually your axis moves by the expected distance. If it doesn’t, it could be that the number of steps per mm is not set correctly. If it does, then check your zero by manually jogging to stock surface after probing and checking you are very close to z=0.0. If the z movements are fine and the zero is fine, it’s probably either something in the g-code file or a bit slipping in the collet or possibly a loose set screw on the Z axis motor pulley. Post your g-code file as @CrookedWoodTex said for a quick check.
