So when I do an advanced vcarve in carbide create it leaves all these voids. Any ideas why>

What does the preview look like?
You can post the file and people will help. I cannot tell what the problem is but many times when you preview and not all areas are cut it means the bit is bigger than the space to cut. Sometimes you can try the next smaller bit to see if you get better carving. However the smaller bit usually makes for longer carve times.

Forgot to try that which I did and it looks good so I’m going to give it a try and see if it’s actually right.

Well I did the carve and it carved just like the picture I supplied. What’s up with this advanced carve crap?
That can’t really be the problem since i’m clearing out with the same v-bit as the outline.
Please post:
- the .c2d file
- a screen grab of the 3D preview
- a generated .nc file
- a clear photo of a failed attempt at cutting
Do you have a BitSetter? If so, did you enable the pocket clearing option?
