Odd plunge to the wasteboard

I just had an odd plunge in the middle of a job. Usually, unexpected plunges come from improper zeroing, stock reference, or bitsetter usage - but in this case, the plunge occurred on the third of three steps, and using the same tool as the second step. Can someone look at this and tell me why? It finished the roughing pass and the finish pass perfectly, then dove for the wasteboard!

Are you talking about this move? (1/4" ball with a 1" depth of cut)

OK>…My bad.

Somehow: My tool library for this tool ended up with a 1" depth of cut. Maybe I fat-fingered it at some point…but it’s weird.

Anyway…it’s all my fault.

THanks for the help.

Ain’t that the truth!! I feel especially proud when I’m heating up aluminum to remove a stuck tool, or fishing through my shop vac with a magnet to get the screw I saw disappear up the hose.
