Only half my file/toolpaths are sending to Carbide Motion?

Just updated to both the most recent versions of CC and CM for mac; I have all the min requirements met.

Love the new interface, but now when I load my older .c2d files, it crashes CM when I click “Send file to Carbide Motion”.

Fine.

I decided to rebuild the toolpaths, that seemed to solve the crash issue. But now when I send the files, even tried a brand new file with a simple circle within a square, one tool, one toolpath, V-bit 60 deg… everything default, nuthin fancy, it sends/loads the file fine into CM, but then in the new preview mode it shows like 10-50% of the entire job and then just abruptly ends. And it always says “Under 2 minutes” for the cut time. Which it definitely is. It’s more like 1 or 2 seconds of cut time.

I thought maybe it was just the preview, ran a job and the spindle just stopped after one path basically and froze there spinning in place, no error or anything, it just stopped and acted as if it had finished the job, but it didn’t retract the Z back up.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Have the same issue. I stopped using send to CM, just load the file. No issues with that process.

I can’t believe I didn’t think to try that one! haha thanks, I will try this method.

I would like to eventually make use of the button to Send to Carbide Motion though, I wonder if there’s a patch coming?

I saw another comment about this. At that time my Button was AWOL.

That feature is still in testing — when using it, please verify that the entire file was transferred.

Will,
Is there a thread someone is monitoring on this issue that we can post to?

Edit
Will saw a request to send data to Support and did that.

I tried it again today when I saw the CM 565 Beta posted, still no luck.
