Open vectors in downloaded svg

Stumped again. I downloaded a flag tray SVG file and CC says there are three open vectors. I have tried using the ‘open selected’ option, but nothing seems to happen. I have literally clicked on every line and star to try and figure out which one is open but they all show closed when I do that. I have zoomed in trying to locate one without success. Any help on what I am missing is appreciated.

It seems to have been made in Adobe Illustrator — just select the open vectors:

and then delete:

Selecting everything:

then shows only closed.
