I found an earlier post from 2020 regarding the Offset Path and rounded corners. Not sure I understand the conscious decision to make the outside rounded. Other programs support both rounded and square. Are there any plans to correct this or has it been fixed and I am missing something.

This is a conscious decision to simplify the interface and provide the most likely desired/useful result.
At this time, if you need sharp corners, create the geometry at the largest size and only inset, or, create your design in a 3rd party tool which has support for this feature and then import it into Carbide Create.
It may be that this will change in a future version, but no idea on when that might be or even if it would happen for certain.
Okay, still don’t get the reasoning as other software does it.
