Outstanding Support

I need to give major props to Carbide 3D. I recently upgraded to the Shapeoko Pro XXL from the 3 XXL. I ordered the new machine on a Sunday evening and by Wednesday of the same week I had the machine. I chose to go with the spindle and I had this along with a few of the accessories I wanted the next day, so 4 days after ordering I had everything. I was not expecting this fast of a delivery so I didn’t have my table built yet.
Now It’s the following Saturday and the worktable is built. Time to start putting the machine together. It took me a little longer than Winston, but I got it done that evening. In my haste to get it done, I pinched the y-axis proximity switch wire. Contacted support and had a new one by the following Tuesday. Now I’m ready to do my first project on the new machine. I had a problem with the spindle cutting too deep on the profile cut to the point it dug all the way through my material and the mdf into the aluminum bed. My brand new hybrid table was scared pretty good. Contacted support and setup a 30 min session with a technician. The technician helped me resolve my profile cut issues and they have shipped out two new Pro/S4 - XXL Hybrid Table Extrusion and Pro/S4 - XXL Hybrid Table MDF parts. No questions asked and no cost to me.

Thanks Carbide 3D for an excellent product and the support! I’m a Carbide 3D customer for life.

I agree, they have Excellent Support! They are Extremely prompt answering questions when you have issues! As a small business man myself and retired mechanical engineer I am impressed with their products and support!
