I’m going to be selling my Shapeoko 3 with the Z+ option. I am looking for any recommendations on how far to break it down for shipping. Thanks.
The ideal is to disassemble to components and repack in the original box.
Failing that, at a minimum, remove the carriage from the gantry, and the gantry from the frame — that will remove the possibility of breaking V wheels and gouging the rails.
Pack everything carefully, being sure that the wiring is all labeled, and that the power supply doesn’t get misplaced.
