Thought I would share. I was looking for eye protection and some sound abatement. I went for 1/4” plexi in a 2020 aluminum extrusion frame.
It’s pretty expensive, and the first time I have worked with either material. The front top will have a almost full width 8” flap so I dont need to duck under. Two doors on either side and two at front. My max plexi width is 48” so unfortunately I can’t span the entire front with two pieces unless I waste a lot.
It’s been interesting but at time a pain.
The base is two 7/8” mdf then I have car body door panel sound proof under hybrid. I’ll probably do the same for the mdf back and back too.
