'PLUNGE' Warning message

Trying my HDM for the first time (yes, rookie here) and got this ‘Warning Message’. I ‘think’ I am doing it right and checked my settings (both zero and bitsetter) but obviously I have missed something (or did something wrong). Learning curve is what it is… just want to get cutting!!

File coaster practice 2.c2d (64 KB)

Sorry for ‘rookie’ question, but would appreciate any veteran advice and insight.

I had that happen to me last week and while I tried and tried to find the reason, I finally disabled all but one tool path at a time and got the job done. Not sure to this day why, but doing so did solve my problem. IF you have multiple tool paths, give it a try and save/run one at a time and it might get you going.

This is a warning, see:

Is your stock really 180mm thick?

How are you securing your stock?

Where are you setting zero relative to the stock?

Could you post a photo showing your stock in place on the machine with the machine at the origin or a specified offset from the origin?
