Pocket oversize prompts belt replacement

So I milled a pocket for a bedside lamp that I’m making, using a toolpath that had worked perfectly well, only to find it was larger that the previous pocket I had milled some days ago. I thought that the steel belts that had been on there for some time were the likely culprits, so replaced them with some kevlar belts I had purchased some time ago. I then drilled some shallow 6mm holes on the corners of a 156mm square, leaving the inner edges 150mm apart to prepare to calibrate my machine. They measured 150.00mm both ways! I was amazed.
I then realised that the reason my previously milled pocket was oversized was that I had use a 4mm bit, not a one eighth bit as required. Sigh - however I’m really pleased about the accuracy.
