Pocket toolpath cutting at different depths

I’ve been running my machine for over a year now and have never had this issue. I’m cutting some pocket tool paths on an image and it’s cutting at different depths throughout the path…I notice when I highlight my toolpath it indicates the depth is not consistent throughout the image. Is this a corruption in the image? Is there a way to edit these inconsistencies out?

Post the file and a photo of an attempt at cutting?

This is a very large part — how are you securing it?

Were you using upcut or downcut tooling?

Which Z-axis does your machine have?

secured with carbide’s clamps…downcut 1/8" endmill and I’m running the pro.

I’m using 1/2" mdf material

For sheet goods you want want to look at using tape and glue:

I would suggest using feeds and speeds optimized for your tool (you are using 1/8" DEFAULT) and you have your depth per pass set to take a single pass:

Reducing that to less than the depth of cut will allow a second pass, and if you set the depth appropriately, you can set the second pass to be a finishing pass.
