Post Processor Question

What is the difference between GRBL and Basic G-Code post processors in Carbide Create.

The question arose when looking at a basic CAD program (ie - Carbide Create) for use with a very inexpensive CNC at a local MakerSpace (a whopping $150.00 machine). The instructions - somewhat minimal - says it will work with G-Code.

Thanks, Bill

Basic G-Code is the most basic post-processor.

Grbl adds a few commands which Grbl understands.

Most likely runs grbl. The choice in post processor might be more dependent on the UI used to send the gcode.
