Hello. New here. Just ordered a Shapeoko 4 xxl and now and looking at accessories. I found cheap bitrunner v1. What is the difference between v1/v2 and will a v1 work on my S4 xxl? Thanks!!
The v1 was “over-built Soviet aesthetic”, while the v2 is contemporary injection molding — the only real difference is that the v2 has a fuse and a pendant for spindle control (and of course will have a warranty).
I have a v1 and after reading on the form I think v1 may be better. The v2 comes with a 1/4 pin you dont have to use. Just more stuff you have to keep up with. The v1 works well.
