Hi All,
My machine out of nowhere stopped initializing. After some investigation, it seems as if the blue wire from the Quick Connect is disengaged from the coupling.
Is there a way we can fix this or do we need another Z stepper motor?
TIA and have a great day!

The Micro-Fit connectors require special tooling to unmake, crimp, and re-make connectors.
The best fix would be a replacement connector, which may entail a new motor — check in at support if you are in warranty.
If you have an So 5 Pro and are out-of-warranty, see:

For an SO4/Pro check in at support and we’ll work up a custom invoice if out-of-warranty.

Hey Will - thanks so much for your very prompt response and help!
We appreciate you!
Would they really need a new motor, or rather just a new motor cable? In fact, the easiest would actually be to splice and repair the end of that cable (rather than replacing the entire cable).
If you get a new cable and cut the end off a couple of inches from the plug, you can splice that cut-off end to the existing cable. If you need to extend the cable at all, it’s 22 gauge wire and some heat shrink tubing. I’ve used:
