Looking for recommendations, I’d like to move away from Carbide Motion to another control software. Basically I want to modify my Z axis and Id like to take advantage of the additional slide length. In addition I’d like to return the Y axis back to the full length of its capability that was lost in going from CM 3 to CM 4. That allows you to clamp a wide piece on the front of my table and carve on the end/side of a piece. So basically just need to change some of the fixed presets that are in CM. Prefer to keep using the stock controller that comes with the Shapeoko 3.
What are your recommendations based on the simplicity of the changes I need to make to my machine.
