Hiya. i just wanted to ask if anyone else is seeing some bugs in the texturing feature in CCpro v813 ?
I am working with a repeating texture, and each is being applied individually for different depth of cut. The bugs are showing up when i double click any previously applied texture. sometimes, the boxes for “include ambient area” and “repeat as texture” are checked but greyed out, and i cannot disable them - neither option is checked on initial application of the texture.
double clicking a couple times seems to randomly cycle which is checked on, and which is able to be unchecked manually, but i cant seem to nail down any consistency about it, and either option being checked will break how i would like the texture to be applied.
As these options are not being checked upon initial texture creation, this seems to clearly be a bug, but i was unable to find a previous post, so i wanted to get any feedback jic this isnt a known issue.
Thanks! If more explanation is required, please let me know and ill describe best i can.
I’ve gotten that issue a lot when working with editing imported models or images too. I don’t work with textures, but the click buttons become annoying. I am usually forced to start over with the import. I just thought I was doing something wrong.
Thanks ^^ and i will be testing it out more as well, but definitely seeing this being repeatable to the random extent it seems to show.
So far, my work around is: IF i need to go back into a previously applied texture, and find that the “repeat as texture” is checked and greyed out, i check the “include ambient area” box, apply, click done, then go back in and the “repeat…” button can be interacted with, which fixes the texture layout… not ideal for workflow, but at least something i can get past.
i was deleting and starting over too, but just found that going into and out of the texture in question (maybe for the image etc too) allows the check options to be interacted with again, and seems to be a work around.
