Resetting bitsetter after gantry forward shift shapeoko 5pro

Hi All, I have just done the gantry shift forward to do some joinery and need to reset the bitsetter. i have not been able to find anything that ACCURATELY tells me how to do it. there are a lot of instructions saying to toggle the bitsetter off in settings, reposition the spindle, then toggle it back on and check the new position box. but there is no new position box. I have done the re-initialize, new machine setup, get to the bitsetter menue, nothing. nothing works. i deleted the carbide motion, re-downloaded, nothing. AI has been no help, grok and gemini. I am out of ideas. can anyone help?

already have…twice. any idea where to go from here?:

Click on “Next”, then update the BitSetter position, then save the new position.
