I drew a box just to get it onto the “drawing board”. Now I want to alter the two dimensions. II I click on the Width and enter the value, the Height automatically changes to what ever the Scale Factor is.
I changed the Scale Factor to 1.00000 but when I enter 95.000 mm for the Width the Height becomes 80.0 and changes the Scale Factor to 0.84211.
All I want to do is have a square box 95.0 mm on all four sides.
What am I doing incorrectly?
The rectangle tool will allow asymmetric resizing by typing numbers into the inspector palette:
but only if you have only one rectangle selected.
If you have multiples or anything else you can only numerically resize symmetrically, or use the drag handles to scale asymmetrically.
