Results of adjusting X & Y axis squareness

Hi All,

Worked on all the suggestions and eventually found the problem with X axis rail ends not being square. Added a .015 shim to front right hand corner and a .010 to the opposite back corner. A very small tweak the the belt tension brought everything square. It also improved the diagonal dimension as well. Loosened the front angles while doing the above.

Someone is letting Carbide 3D down in the cold sawing department. IMO the rail ends should come off the cold saw nearly
dead on with the proper setup, etc.

Anyway, happy with the results and the Shapeoko and everyone who replied with suggestions. Great forum !

A little hard to see because of reflection off shim.

Thanks for sharing your result, congrats

Hi Jude,
