Hello folks.
I’m doing some simple 3d carving, basically a do-nut shape that’s domed.
The project cuts fine, but after each stepover pass the z axis retracts to about 20mm from the workpiece before moving over and doing the next pass. Is there some way to reduce that retraction to save cutting time?
I’ve looked at tall the settings but I’m new to this and probably missing something obvious.

On the Design page, Job Setup, near the bottom. You have to unselect any vectors to see the Job Setup (Gear) icon. (click in any open area on the graphics screen)

Under Set-up there is a gear icon for job set-up
Bottom of that tab is ‘retract height’
