Rhino 8 3D, STL import, Problems cuts too deep

I set up a job in Rhino 8 for a Ukulele bridge here is the bridge in Rhino.

And here in Carbide Create

And here is what the CNC did…not sure what I am doing wrong, or what setting I need to make on the imported STL file…

What is the Stock Thickness?

Upload your file?

See:

I`m using some scrap wood, it’s about 3/4 of an inch thick, but I set zero for the job on the top surface of the stock. The actual bridge at its thickest part is 0.338" thick.

Up load the file where?

Upload here:

Processing: Uku3DbridgeCC.c2d…
not sure if it will upload…

If it won’t upload, then e-mail it to support@carbide3d.com

If you set the stock thickness in CC to 0.338, and zero off the top it should cut your bridge in the top 0.338" of the stock, leaving extra stock below the part.
Otherwise, measure the EXACT thickness of the stock and create a base or base height of the difference. i.e. if it’s 0.750, then 0.750 - 0.338 = 0.412. Make a 0.412 base, then add the 0.338 STL on top of that.
If you’re finishing with a ballnose, and you want the side of the cutter to cut all the way to the bottom of bridge, then you also need to subtract the radius of the cutter from the base. So for the same example, with a 1/8" cutter, subtract 0.0625 from the base (0.3495), and add a base of 0.0625 to the imported STL.
