Think I have a burned up router. Started making a noise and not cutting as well. Thought I could post a video. But guess not. Sparking inside as well, only a week old.

Try replacing the carbon brushes – we should have included two spare pairs – if that doesn’t work, please check in at support.
Yep, replaced and still making sparks and noise. Have contacted support and since it’s a month old hoping to replace or credit towards a spindle. Never know unless you ask. We will see. Regardless the support customer service has been above board every time I have contacted them. Even with simple problems…… like operator error.
Upgraded to the 65 spindle, wow. If it’s an option do that. So much quieter. Haven’t seen all benefits yet I am sure.
The big advantages to my mind are speed control and the torque to handle larger tooling:
I have not experienced any disconnects since using the 65mm spindle from Carbide3D. Worth the upgrade for sure…
