I have a 3 XXL , and I’m helping the local high school setup the 4 XXL they just got.
Everything went well but I noticed it didn’t prompt me to turn off the router at the end of the job. Needless to say when it went to the back right corner the shop vac hose took a ride. There’s not a bit setter. Is there a way to enable this feature since it will be primarily used by students?
Your best bet would be a BitRunner. This completely automates turning the router on and off. You can’t forget to do it if the computer does it for you!
For $80, it’s a pretty cheap improvement for both convenience and safety.
EDIT - It also shuts off the router if you Pause the program. You know that at some point someone will pause so they can adjust something (no matter what the rules are), so having the router automatically shut off in this case is also a safety improvement.
