A feature that Mach3 has, is called “Run from Here”. Really handy when in the middle of running a long file, something catastrophic happens, that requires a bit to be changed, or spindle replaced, or whatever. The work around I see with Carbon Motion, would be to edit the gcode file itself, cutting out the portion that’s already run. Not necessary for a quick little job, but for a ten hour job? Either way, it is a convenience that’s missing from carbide motion.

And Mach3 cost $175. GRBL is free. Might that not be significant?
