So far so good, and everything seems to be working perfectly.
However, what I wasn’t expecting was the spindle power to trigger on/off every time the Z axis retracts. I was hoping for a single spindle power on at job start, and then a final spindle power off at the end of the job. Does anyone have any thoughts on how I might accomplish this?

UPDATE: Really not sure what I did - but the start/stop functionality is now working perfectly regardless of toolpath or retraction moves. Perhaps some of the test MDI codes I sent caused the problem.
