SO5PRO, not overworked, less than a year old. X stepper motor- sounds like grinding, won’t kove the X axis unless I push the Z axis with it in the proper direction (sort of assist it). Won’t jog the X axis. I have to assist it. However, when I remove the stepper motor and jog it, the stepper motor turns fine and smooth. What am I missing?
Does the machine need lubrication?
Agree with Will, fixed the grinding noise on my Z axis and this with only about 4 hours on the machine at the time.
