Anyone recognize this screw? 3 mm.
Running our week old 5 pro and this fell onto the bed while running. I have the smaller vfd spindle and sweepy attached. It looks like one of the screws from the gantry rail but we can’t find a missing one?

M4 flathead cover to an oil port:
I had a similar screw fall off my 5 pro in the first week and never found out where it came from. I keep it taped to my laptop stand incase I get lucky someday and find out where it goes. My 5 pro has been running great for months without it.
That was my first thought but all my ports are covered.
That was it - thank you!
One should go back through their gantry and make sure to check the tightness on all screws. The vibration the our machines produce over the course of so many cuts causes screws to sometimes come loose and fall out if not completely tightened enough the first time. I had a longer smaller screw fall off my gantry as well during a cut and after looking for where it came off of, I found that the cover plate lost this screw. I also saw that another screw was about half way out as well. I tightened all 4 screws back up.
I’m not sure if it would be feasible to apply a small bead of blue thread lock on these screws to make sure they don’t come loose again, but something like this might help. Would consult with the service department first and see what they recommend.
