Unfortunately, my hobby situation has resulted in me having to put my various woodworking and machining tools in storage, climate controlled that is. With that being said, I am looking to part with my mildly used Nomad 3.
The Nomad 3 was purchased when it first became available to buy, and I have a few extras with it. The things I would cut were primarily reshape for mold making and HDPE. Even still, I used it seldomly at best. The hinge door, notorious at this point, was altered a little with dedicated metal hinges and I even upgraded to a Saunder’s Fixture Plate. With this Nomad, I have the CNC vise from Carbide, and of course have the Bitzero.
Like I said, it’s a change in my hobby routine, sadly, but I figure it’s better to let someone get the most out of it rather than it keep my Shapeoko company in storage.
Brand new, the price is $2800, and even with the added pieces and fixturing I am willing to accept $2150. Since it weighs more than my pets, I am accepting people local to the DMV area (DC, Maryland, VA).
