Shapeoko 5 Pro 4x4 with water cooled spindle

PwnCNC can be a bit pricey, but the do have a really good reputation. As far as 110v vs 220v, if you have the means to use 220v by all means do. Especially if going with the 1.5kw or definitely the 2.2kw.

Total noobie question here, but what do you mean by “The S5Pro can easily stall the 1.2kw VFD spindle”?

Meaning the motion system has more torque than the spindle. So it will push hard enough to make the spindle stop turning. :slight_smile:

Too bad that Carbide3D (unlike pwnCNC) doesn’t provide or enable the display of spindle torque/power information available from the VFD (see attachment) ;-(
