Got my first custom project done with my custom snowman, took two days to make this snowman. I didn’t sand off the rough part, plus was using a smaller bit, so I didn’t have change out the bit. Would have been smoother if I use a bigger bit and use smaller bit for details. First time and learning. Try to inlay earlier on, but couldn’t do it, i had figured I will need to change sizes for inlays.
I live in East Texas. Yesterday it was 80 degrees and will be about 85 today. However last week we got down into the 40s at night. Your snowmen reminds me that winter is coming. It will be cooling down to the 60-70 Tuesday with a low of 38 a few nights this week.
I would rather it be 100 than 60 so it is cold for us but I know people that live further north think 60 is very warm. We dont get much snow in Texas but I used to work for Kodak and would go to Rochester NY for weeks at a time and always seemed to be in winter. We had snow drift up the bottom of the 2nd story windows. The coldest I have ever been was on a street corner in Toronto with a wool overcoat, coat underneath, clothes and thermal underware. That cold north wind just ripped through me.
However with Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner Let it Snow, Let it Snow as long as it is north of where I am.
