I cannot find any install doc for the HD Spindle Mount. It appears you are to mount this directly to the HDZ and omit the Tram Plate included with the HDZ. However, I am unsure. It would be good to have some clarification. It may not matter, but there are also two types of screws supplied and it is unclear what the intended locations of these screws are as they can be used interchangeably in the four mounting holes.
The HD spindle mounts will mount right to the face of the HDZ.

Thank you, that was my guess and what I did. I used the socket heads in the top holes and the button heads in the bottom holes. and the single shorter bolt to provide additional tension on the router
The single short bolt is to open the spindle mount - it won’t tighten it down

you use the short screw to open the mount so you can slide your spindle in/out of the mount.

Is the 80mm spindle bracket from C3D still blue (hopefully)? I really want a blue one
