Shapeoko pro movements backwards

It’s been about a year since I’ve turned on my shapeoko pro xxl (just moved and set up new shop) I’ve downloaded the new carbide motion build 640 and initialized the machine to notice the movements where backwards giving me an error for homing (HM001 The machine could not pull off homing switches). I’ve cleaned the machine, set it up, squared it checked all the wiring and remembered there is a setting for this. But without initializing the machine I don’t think I can access the MDI. What do I do now?

I’ve also tested the switches and replaced one by one with a brand new spare I had. Seems as they are working correctly

Connect to the machine, but do not initialize. Go to Settings, then Debug.

There is a live display of the input pins. You can see if anything is stuck on, and you can test the switches there.

MDI is an option and can be enabled.

Just in case, try re-configuring — this will also afford the chance to test the homing switches:

X and Z are both on in the input state log but the red lights on the physical switches are off if i put an allen key up to them they will light up

Sounds like your best bet would be to connect with C3D support.

maybe its time to buy all new switches, how do we go about ordering spare parts

We have them in our shop, but start by contact support@carbide3d.com so that we can walk through some checks with you to confirm what you need.

Thank you, I will contact them asap
