It took me about two hours, start to finish, included cleaning up the cables. The difference in rigidity is well worth the money.
For those considering it for that, you won’t be disappointed.
I also ran the cables through the back tube. I started to design a replacement, and then just used a step drill, which works great on plastics. No burs and the edges are smooth.
On to the next project.
