I have a shooting board that I use to make straight edges on rough lumber. I have a bunch of the Microjig dovetail clamps. I am going to make a new shooting board utilizing the clamps to replace my well worn one. The bottom of the current one just has a t track used in the miter slot to guide it. I will just move it over to the new one.
I just move the clamps around with the blocks to secure the blanks.
This shootingboard has been quite useful. You might want to make one to use to help feed your Shapeoko.
