Haha, been there, sort of. It was go-carts and big wheels in a one car garage for me.
@Griff that’s awesome, I’m from the Lockport / Albion area originally, but now I’m out of Rochester. We’ll talk again in September, who knows it might be snow by then.
I hear Buffalo… Rochester… wait a second! I’m in Rochester too (NY not MN). I live in East Irondequoit.
Very nice tooling I have a 20’x20’ shop similar to yours. What ever your shop size it’s always too small.
P.S. I’m a bit disapointed by the lack of clamps

Not at all happy with the legs included on the tub from Signature hardware. They do not fit properly plus the threaded levelers, removed in photo, would sit at a 30 degree angle to the floor if installed, worthless. Temporary shims in place now. Another set of legs on the way from Signature but I doubt they’ll be much better.
Are you gearing up to make new legs yourself from some exotic material?
Well, that would have been a real challenge for me, tempting but…no.
I did whip up a design in F 360 for some “shoes” to hide the bottom of the legs and shim for level. 2 have a quarter inch bottom thickness, 1 at 3/16’s and one at 5/16’s. Got the SO3 into the game finally. Oh, I also used it to cut all the mortises for the vanity. Still working on the drawers and door. Sink and faucet on the way. Figure I’ll make a template for the sink cutout on the SO3. (Wife can’t wait to add her touches). And, I also made some wall plates for plugs and switches just for fun.
Unfortunately my only 22 year old JET 10” contractor saw started arguing with me so I sold it. And ordered one of these bad boys:
Saved so much on the re-model it was easy to justify with the boss.
Project resumes upon delivery…
Impressive. Is that the unit with the instant blade stop? I’ve seen that feature demonstrated with a hot dog, hopefully no one is will to test with real digits!
Sawstop had lots of pictures on their site of fingers with tiny blade marks from lucky users.
So it has been “tested” on humans.
It is indeed.
I researched 3hp cabinet saws pretty throughly. Narrowed my choice to Powermatic or SawStop.
The premium you pay for a SawStop is less of a factor as the features/cost of the tools increase.
I figure I’ll get 15 years or so use out of it before I become too decrepit to lift a board onto it. Then bequeath it to my son-in-law and grandson. It’ll be nicely broken in by then. Haha!
