Hi All,
I been working in CC 6 for a while and the simulation material ‘aluminum’ is good for me because I work with small size material, usually under an inch. The aluminum look is good for this because there are no wood grains interfering when zooming in.
Anyway I am trying out 7 pro but in the 3D modeling area the default for new models is always ‘cherry’ and is impossible for me to see the preview decently, especially small sizes. So I need to create (select done’ the model, then go to the toolpath tab and change to aluminum, then go back to the 3D model tab to view to see if everything is OK.
In version 6 the last simulation stock you select becomes the default, so aluminum is always there for me. Is there something I am doing wrong in 7? Creating a new model will always default to ‘cherry’ but I want it to me aluminum…
