Simulation is showing me uncut areas

Drew a text on text which I have done a few times. Happy with the way the new Boolean works.

When I do my tool paths I hog out with .250 and follow with .125 and .060 to get areas that the .250 misses. I cut this on scrap and the customer wanted a change in font. The scrap job went well. With the font change, I re-did everything. When I went to the simulation I noticed areas that were not going to cut.

I added an extra Pocket with a .125 bit to see if that would clear it. (that is why I have multiple pockets) That did not clean up the simulation.

When I looked at it in Camotics I do not see an issue. Is CC lying to me? I know it is a basic rendering BUT it has never steered me wrong.

Thanks

The areas with stuff remaining look like the .125" never went there - .250" then .060". Check toolpaths, make sure the .125" is right?

Thanks

You are right, looks like the .125 did not clear it in those areas. So for giggles I set a pocket with the .060, same indication that there would be material left. I think I will scrap this file and start again.

So I scraped the file and recreated it. No more anomalies in the simulation. Wondering if, if. I have just removed the original design from the first file and recreated in the same file. Maybe when I save the change it mixed it up some.

I don’t know. Just glad it worked out and ten min to recreate a new file was all I lost. The three hours trying to fix the problem is chalked up to learning.

If anyone would like to look at the files to see what they might see. Maybe it will save us all some time.

On closer look, is it possible that the .06" was set to inside contour or no offset, instead of outside contour?

Well, Shucky Darn, or words like that. Thank you. The contour was set to inside on the top.

Correcting that changed it to what I needed. As I said, I redid the file and it is cutting.

Thanks again.
